Maturing spiritually involves having both the spiritual life and spiritual skills of a disciple. This is what it means to be a mature and equipped follower of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-14), culminating in Jesus commandment to disciple the nation's (Matthew 28:18-20 - the great commission). Accordingly, the ‘core business’ and associated fruit of a mature Christian faith, must involve being and making of disciples. But what does this actually mean and look like? To answer this question, Called to Conquer has developed a discipleship assessment and ‘building blueprints’, to help every disciple better integrate the great commission (or what has been referred to as the great omission of the 21st century) into our lives. It does so by identifying and using 10 core values and vital behaviours (or building blocks) to build a disciples’ spiritual home - in a similar way to how we might construct our physical home.
